Upon arrival at Dar Airport pick up by lodge driver and transfer to your lodge near airport at Airport Transit Lodge on bed & breakfast 

Day1– Fly from Dar Es Salaam International Airport to Ruaha 

Journey: fly from Dar to Ruaha 

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Dar Airport for your flight to Ruaha that departs at 07:00hrs and arrive at 09:20hrs. on Arrival at Msembe Airstrip you will be picked up by your private driver guide who will take you to the lodge for lunch later enjoy game drive. 

Safari in Ruaha 

The rocky slopes of Ruaha surround vast open plains and seasonal wetlands that turn into a mini – Okavango Delta in the wet season.

The most common ungulates are buffalo, zebra, giraffe and various relatively common antelope – with sightings of lesser kudu, the greater kudu and Grant’s gazelle not uncommon and also the rare roan and sable antelope. Elephant numbers in Ruaha are larger than any other national park in Tanzania with superb sightings of up to hundreds congregating by the river in the late dry season. The birding is also excellent – with a count of nearly 600 species – with a variety of southern and northern birds including several noteworthy species. Meal plan

Day2 – Ruaha – Safari in Ruaha

Day4 – Fly from Ruaha Msembe Airstrip to Selous Game Reserve 

Journey: fly from Ruaha to Selous Game reserve 

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Msembe airstrip for your flight to Selous Game Reserve that departs at 09:45hrs and arrive at 11:30hrs. on Arrival at Airstrip you will be picked up by your driver guide who will take you to the lodge for relaxation and lunch. Meal plan

Day5 – Selous Game Reserve 

Safari in Selous Game Reserve  

Selous holds large numbers of wildlife, most of it along the mighty Rufiji River. Due to seasonal flooding, it has created along its course many permanent lakes which are centres of wildlife activity. In addition to a large population of elephants, there are buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, water buck, eland, lion, leopard, wild dogs, hippo, crocodiles, etc., and over 350 species of water and land birds. Meal plan

Day6 – Selous Game Reserve

Day7 – Selous Game Reserve fly to Dar es salaam International Airport 

After breakfast pickup by your driver and transfer to airstrip for your departure flight at 10:15hrs arrive Dar at 11:15hrs, connect with your international flight onwards
